The OrganisationEarly Autism Services (EAS) is an established provider of home-based (and soon-to-be clinic) ABA (applied behaviour analytic) therapy with over ten years of experience implementing high-quality behavioural programming worldwide. Our Australian team is currently growing at a rapid pace as our efforts to both expand the field of ABA as well as diversify our services within Australia continue.
The Role
We are seeking multiple Board Certified Behaviour Analysts for the positions of Program Supervisor within Victoria.
Individuals within this position are responsible for the planning, developing and monitoring a wide variety of behavioural support service delivery options to meet the needs of clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other developmental disorders.
The ideal candidates will be motivated to establish services with local clients while working closely with their Clinical Director.
As a successful candidate, you will demonstrate the following: Researching, creating and implementing specified behaviour reduction plans with clients that display aberrant behaviourConducting behavioural assessments, initial consultations, and treatment plansCollecting data on each target goal during supervision sessionsAnswering logistical questions for therapists, parents or supervisors about schedules, procedures or behaviour plansAnswering ABA conceptual or therapy program-related questions for therapists and/or parentsAttending in-home team meetings with family members and therapistsAnalysing data taken by therapy teams, making treatment decisions, and writing detailed treatment notes at the end of each supervision sessionUpdating client goals and treatment plansDemonstrating cultural competence while working with clients and their familiesSupervising and training non-certified staff (including Behavioural therapists- and Pre-BCBA credential Program Supervisor-level staff)Providing training and feedback to parents as neededProviding direct (1:1) service to clients as neededWorking with local professionals to secure environmental support for clientsParticipate in ongoing training and continuing education in order to maintain BACB credentialTimely updating of tracking spreadsheets related to various clinical and administrative procedures including client onboarding and assessment, billable hours, client goal achievement, interobserver agreement and treatment integrityOrganizing materials in each client's home to ensure a clean workspace for all employees and familiesTraveling for company-wide meetings as needed
What do you bring?Certification by the Behaviour Analyst Certification BoardA minimum of three (3) years of recent experience working with individuals who have autism spectrum disorders (or other developmental disabilities) and their familiesA Master's degree in special education, psychology, or related field, with specialized knowledge of behavioural health and treatment philosophies and professional practicesKnowledge of early childhood and autism assessment tools and procedures, and thorough knowledge of child development. Experience developing positive behaviour support plans and programs; experience teaching social interaction and play skillsKnowledge of current methods and techniques of applied behaviour analysis; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with clients, parents, and professionals; competence in analysing assessment results, designing appropriate individual treatment plans and behavioural programs, and monitoring progressKnowledge and utilization of effective generalisation techniques (such as Natural Environment Teaching and Incidental Teaching)
