The Position
St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospital provides high quality public and private services to people living in the east metropolitan and Wheatbelt regions.
To support the hospitals commitment to ensuring our caregivers deliver quality patient care and an excellent patient experience, we are seeking committed and motivated Anaesthetic Assistants to join the Theatre team. The Anaesthetic Assistant is an essential part of our team and is responsible for the provision of patient care, with special regard to all types of anaesthesia and maintenance of associated equipment.
This role is open to candidates who are Anaesthetic Technicians, and also Enrolled and Registered Nurses with anaesthetic training or a Diploma in Anaesthetic Technology. Applicants with any level of experience are welcome to apply. Newly qualified candidates are encouraged to apply as further training and development will be available as part of our supportive and friendly team.
There are positions being offered on a casual, permanent part time and permanent full time basis. There is the opportunity to work up to 70 hours per fortnight. Hours will be negotiated with the successful candidates.
