As part of the Reception and Dental Assisting Team for our orthodontic practice, you will be responsible for the first impressions and ongoing outstanding customer experience. We want you to come in and truly show what great customer service is, right from the very first moment.
You must be able to thrive in an environment where new technologies are a constant and professional development is a focus. This role will have some administrative and clinical duties but we prefer to see your head up, not down; to build relationships, not transactions.
To be a great promoter of their brand, youll need to be highly organised, with excellent communication and love working in a fast paced environment, have a love for creating efficient processes and a genuine passion for ensuring every team member is delivering the very best service experience. Youll be confident and experienced in coaching fellow team members to perform their best and be open to being coached by others
Key ResponsibilitiesAttend professional development opportunities such as online training and yearly industry conferencesBook appointments for new and existing patientsSet up financial contracts (payment plans paperwork)Help create and maintain the processes and culture that exude customer service excellence, quality and efficienciesWork closely with fellow departments to ensure smooth communication and processesComplete administrative tasks with accuracy including financial contracts and chart entriesAnswer the phone and email enquiriesMaintain and update manualsReport regularly to the Practice Manager and Principal OrthodontistSteriChair-side assisting

Who you are:Experience in a dental clinic (either at front desk or in the clinic is highly desired)You have a good attention to detail and a love of following through tasks to completionYou have demonstrated experience interacting with fellow team members through empathy and fairness.You have experience looking after customers on the phone and or in the dental clinicYoure comfortable talking prices and payment plans.Youre great at building rapport with both children and adults.Youre not afraid of ticking off those routine processes that must be done each dayYou understand that first impressions count, so you have impeccable personal hygiene, appearance and are well groomed

Location: Albert Park
Full time or Part Time for the right candidate. No weekend work.
Salary: negotiable depending on skills and experience.
