About the Role:
To promote their smart home and home security products in Australia, our client is seeking a Business Development professional with experience in the IT industry or in retail of consumer electronics in Australia. This opportunity will suit a very self-motivated sales and key client management professional with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Duties: Develop customer relationships as well as the companys brand and solution with smart home stores, wholesalers and retailers in the Australian marketNegotiate the referencing of products, stock-in and monitoring stock levelsSet up promotional operations to increase salesBe responsible for the steady growth of customer numbers & SORegularly visit customers to maintain good relationships and understand their needs and problems to support them growing their businessVisit offline stores to understand the products situation and improve product visibility and user experienceMeet weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tacticsPrepare and carry out sales talks, including presentations, as well as conducting negotiationsIdentify market potential, analyze the industry market situation and trends, including technologies, products, prices and competition and provide corresponding suggestionsActively participate in various events and fairs to promote the companys products.
Skills & Experience:Bachelors' degree or above in Business Administration, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or related fields3 years relevant experience in IT equipment, smart home or home security industry, experience in consumer electronics and retail channels will be a plusFamiliar with local IT and computer dealers and experienced in key account managementBe able to work independently, sales driven and customer orientedIn-depth knowledge of IT hardware/consumer electronics/smart homeGood numerical skills and be comfortable with calculating margins and negotiationExcellent communication, demonstration, presentation and organisational skillsBe pragmatic and willing to learnSolid experience and skills in MS Outlook, Excel, PPt and related toolsAbility to work within a fast-paced multitasking and multicultural environmentWilling to travelGood command of business communication in English, Chinese will be a plus
