Established in 2016 Gold Coast Private Hospital is a 336 bed, 22 operating theatre facility located in Southport, the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct. Specialities include and are not limited to: 24/7 Emergency Care Centre, Medical, Orthopaedic, Bariatric, Neurosurgical, Plastics, ENT & General Surgical, Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology. About the role:
In our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your career in HR, gaining experience and knowledge across the broader HR fields. This opportunity would suit someone with a solid administrative background, prior HR exposure, strong interpersonal skills, and a flexible and adaptable approach.
You will be a capable, proactive and motivated HR Administrator with demonstrated knowledge of the employee lifecycle. As a quick learner, you will be able to take on the varied responsibilities of the role.
Key responsibilities in this role include:
Assist with human resource activities such as employment contracts, position descriptions, performance appraisals, staff orientation, AHPRA Registrations, payroll administration and leave managementScanning, renaming and filing of large volumes of HR documentationCoordinate Staff Uniform requirements for new and existing hospital staffCapacity to problem solve and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiativesPerform general administrative duties across a range of HR activitiesCover HR/Payroll Coordinator position when on leave
Essential Criteria:
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast paced, large complex organisationExperience in the administration and use of online recruitment candidate management platform (Taleo is desirable)Analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines and balance competing prioritiesExceptional customer service skillsWell-developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsSuperior attention to detailProficient in MS Office softwareMust enjoy working as part of a team, but with the confidence to work independentlyDiploma of HRM or related discipline (desirable)Experience in a HR role at a hospital (desirable)
