Randstad are excited to be recruiting for multiple APS3 Customer Service Officer positions working in a Contact Centre for our valued Federal Government client. You will build your exposure and career in a prominent Federal Government Agency and learn their systems as well as further develop your already existing skills. This Customer Service APS3 role will see you as the first contact point, liaising with customers and clients. Responding to inbound and outbound calls to gather important information to update systems, make decisions and provide information to customers.

- Pay Rates $36.00 per hour + superannuation
- Full Time and Part Time hours available between 8:00am - 6:30pm Monday - Friday

Please note: For Federal Government opportunities you must be an Australian Citizen and a National Police Clearance & Working With Children Check will be conducted.

Responsibilities

In this role you will assist individuals seeking information about employment services. As the first point of contact, you will need to provide a high level of customer service. Taking inbound and outbound calls you will be required to interact with customers to understand their needs and to provide sound advice and make recommendations.

- Customer service to those seeking clarification on employment services
- Analyzing and interpreting information to make decisions
- Inbound and Outbound calls to gather information and answer queries
- Administration and reporting procedures

What we are looking for

It is essential that you provide a high level of customer service, treating all customers with honesty, fairness, sensitivity and empathy. You will be professional and confident to make decisions and to find outcomes for complex matters.

- Previous contact centre experience / experience delivering government employment services is highly desirable
- Data entry skills - ability to quickly and accurately enter data into the system
- Ability to respond to change in a positive and flexible manner
- Availability to work full-time hours Monday - Friday
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent punctuality and attendance and adherence to the Contact Centre rostered environment

About the Role

- Pay Rate - $36.00 per hour + super
- Monday - Friday 8am-6:30pm AEST (rostered hours given in advance - 7.5 hour days)
- Part Time and Full Time temporary ongoing contract opportunities available
- Brisbane CBD
