CASUAL ALLIED HEALTH CLINIC RECEPTIONIST

A wonderful opportunity exists for a kind, enthusiastic person, who would enjoy working in a casual receptionist role in a modern osteopathy practice in the Parramatta CBD. The Osteopathy Clinic has been established in Parramatta for 20 years, providing personalised, high quality care for our community. We are looking forward to welcoming a positive receptionist to our team, whose duties will include:Acting as the first point of contact and greeting patients on arrivalAnswering phone/email enquiriesManaging patient schedulingGeneral administrative and clinic dutiesCleaning and disinfecting according to set protocols, including management of patient gowns/clinic towels. Collecting patient information, maintaining patient privacy and accurate data entryProcessing paymentsProcess third-party payments, such as WorkCover and insurance companies.Completing administration including document scanning and formatting/typing lettersHelping with marketing and social media management

What we require of you is a commitment to the delivery of professional, caring and friendly services to patients, referrers and visitors. Essential qualities to help ensure this include:

Honesty, trustworthiness and reliability Ability to work autonomouslyProactivity in showing initiativeA positive and caring outlook Customer service focusedExcellent communication skillsAbility to follow systemsComputer skills, including intermediate Word and basic Excel skills,Experience in Cliniko software management an advantage, but not essential. Knowledge of social media platforms and marketing

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a boutique allied health practice that provides excellent working conditions.

The role is a casual position (can lead to part-time), currently requiring you to work on a Wednesday and Thursday at varied hours/shifts between 10am and 8pm, and being able to occasionally cover sick/ holiday shifts as needed. There is potential to expand days/hours as the clinic returns to normal pre-covid opening hours.

The rate of pay for this role is Health Professionals and Support Services Award, Support Services Level 3 with a casual pay rate of $30.59.
