The focus for this role is to be responsible for driving lead generation, coordinating marketing sourced pipeline, sales qualified leads, and developing the market with a focus of new logos in Australia and New Zealand for the Hitachi Energy Grid Automation Enterprise Software business. The enterprise software business offers systems, service, and software solutions across the asset intensive industry (which includes but not limited to Utilities, Transport and Mining) value chain.

We are playing a significant role in enabling a sustainable energy future for todays generations and those to come.Your responsibilitiesThe individual will coordinate all market development efforts in service of sales leads and coordinate the effectiveness of Hitachi Energy outreach efforts.The individual will work with multiple stakeholders (sales, field marketing, commercial operations, and product management) to optimize regional marketing initiatives through generating and qualifying marketing sourced leads while collaborating with sales to grow and move leads through pipeline.The individual will also provide support with lead assignment, track lead requests and linkage of opportunities in close partnership with the Sales team in the APAC region.Build pipeline of quality sales leads and opportunitiesGenerate, nurture, and achieve regions marketing qualified lead goals to transition to salesCollaborate and build relationships with sales representatives and sales leadership to move leads through the pipeline to meet/exceed top-line goalsConduct research on targeted accounts and new contacts to prospect through 3rd party data tools and solutionsBuild deep knowledge of Enterprise Software product portfolio to enable effective and efficient regional lead generationAlign with stakeholders to create marketing programs supported by outbound outreachUpdate Salesforce regularly to track status of lead qualification and to drive accurate reporting; maintain accuracy and integrity of information in databasePersonable, outgoing, and able to initiate conversations and communications in an engaging manner with a tenacious hunger to drive new leads and achieve goalsWorking knowledge of CRM and marketing automation solutions. Salesforce and Eloqua a plusSolid organization and time management skills along with top notchlistening and communications skills, both written and verbal; compelling presentation skillsDemonstrated ability to: Prospect via warm and cold call interactions byphone, email, tradeshows, and events to nurture and qualify leadsSelf-generate leads; identify and research targeted accounts and personas through 3rd party tools and data solutionsEstablish rapport with multiple levels of decision makers and influencersUnderstand technical concepts, complex solution portfolios, and competitive landscapes.Align marketing funnel strategies and manage sales cyclesRepresent Hitachi Energy at tradeshows and events; minimal travel required.Multi-task with keen attention to detail in a fast paced, changing environmentLiving our companys core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your backgroundMinimum 5 years experience in successful Inside SalesUnderstanding of the software industryExperience qualifying a high volume of leadsExperience cold callingExperience and understanding of the Asset Intensive industry and market will be advantageous.Exposure to strategic & result orientation.Have an Insight on Safety & Quality, Teamwork and Collaboration, People DevelopmentHave an Insight on Personal & Change Leadership, Intercultural Sensitivity & Effectiveness.
