The Gig Corporate AccountantMonth-end preparation, such as preparation of monthly revenue journal, prepayment journal, accruals journal, petty cash reconciliation and other journalsMonthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation including gift voucher reconciliationIntercompany charges and maintenance, including maintaining invoices from HK and BaliCashflow management and other treasury functionsLiaising and reviewing internal and external audits for group of entitlesLiaising and reviewing tax returns for group of entitiesPerforming variance analysis and internal control related mattersPreparing forecast, annual budget and business plan as requiredAssisting with statutory reporting such as FBT, BAS, etc. as requiredVerification of supplier invoices and ensure all expenses are duly authorised. Accurately costing expenses to General LedgerFull function and management of Accounts Receivable for Management Company and actively follow-up on outstanding balances and ensuring payments are receipted on a timely and accurate mannerDaily bank entry and reconciliationsEffectively liaison with all levels of stakeholders including colleagues, clients/guests, suppliers and Hong Kong/Bali team membersEnsuring internal control policies and procedures are operating effectivelyEnsuring the professional running of the accounting functions to maximise revenue, protect the assets of the Hotel and minimise riskSupervisory of junior team members and interns and providing training as required.Assisting with any other jobs/duties as required by senior management from time to time
About You
You will have the ability to work to tight deadlines and in a fast-paced work environment. Your "can-do" attitude will support the team across a range of other finance areas.Experience in Hospitality accounts is an advantageBachelor of Commerce or Business with major in Accounting, CA/CPA preferredNaturally analytical, proactive, possess great attention to details for accuracy and efficient problem solving skillsAbility to effectively time manage different tasks, meet deadlines and work well under pressureStrong organisational and communication skillsExcellent Microsoft office skills, must be proficient in ExcelPreferred experience liaising with auditors and external tax agentPreferred experience in current Accounting software such as Sun System but not mandatory
