Our client has now opened their doors for an Accountant to join the team and grow within the organisation as the company rapidly expands in its sales activity.
Job Description
- Monthly reporting process, including accruals, prepayments, and other EOM journals for several group companies.
- The Accounts Payable/Receivable function including entry of invoices into the accounting system.
- Preparation of monthly general ledger reconciliations to ensure integrity of reporting.
- Budget vs actual reporting and variance analysis.
- Assist in meeting compliance requirements including payroll tax, IAS, BAS, Superannuation and FBT.
- Management and maintenance of fixed asset and depreciation register.
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis when required.
The Successful Applicant
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in an Assistant Accountant position for 2+ years.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to self-manage to meet strict deadlines.
