Visitor Centre Officer (Part Time)

A visit to the Meander Valley is sure to be magic! Our team know all the best places and we seek a Visitor Centre Officer to join them to provide high quality and knowledgeable customer service based at the Great Western Tiers Visitor Centre in Deloraine.

About the Role:

Responsible for the provision of exceptional and responsive customer service at the visitor centre, the role also provides accommodation booking, merchandise sales and administration. Experience in a previous tourism / customer service position will enable you to excel in this role.

This position is offered on a part time basis, working two (2) days per week (15 hours) with the regular days of work being Thursday and Friday. The centre operates seven days per week and is open public holidays.

Annual salary will be negotiated subject to applicants qualification, skills and experience within a range of $27.87 per hour to $30.18 per hour (equivalent to full time annual salary range of $54,343 to $58,852- pro rata for the part time hours), under Councils Enterprise Agreement. Council will pay superannuation at a rate of 14.0%.
