One Tree Defence Unit The Sunny Child
One Tree Defence Unit - The Sunny Child is in Swanbourne, WA and supports Australian Defence Force families and the local community. Our community is a small village commonly known at The Patch it is all Defence families. These families rely on each other quite heavily for support as they do not have a lot of family around them. They also rely heavily on our service for support and guidance and sometimes just to have someone to vent to when their partners have been deployed and they are struggling with being a single parent family.
With capacity for only 47 children and operating between the hours of 6.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday this really is a centre for people who are friendly, focused and love working with children in a tight-knit community.
What youll Bring:
Certificate III or Diploma in Early childhood Current working with Children card You will have a bright personality and good energy What youll do:
You will be able to recognise and develop the strengths in children and your team You will be able to build positive relationships with peers, families, and children You will have a strong understanding of the Children's Services Regulations, Early Years Learning Framework (VEYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) You will have passion and enthusiasm and will want to have fun What youll receive:
