Job Description

The Business Development Adviser contributes to the firm's client retention, client development, brand awareness, succession building and new business development initiatives through driving activities such as:
- Taking responsibility and ownership for the execution of practice group and client business development priorities, including taking the lead on agreed projects and initiatives,
- Contributing to the development and implementation of practice group and client plans,
- Client plan implementation and provision of business development advice on best practice tender and credential management,
- Research and communication of opportunities,
- Social media channel management; running, creating and engaging on the social media platforms of the firm to build market branding/ presence,
- Event management associated with specific client initiatives,
- Working closely with the Directors, nominated practice groups and clients to achieve new business outcomes,
- Driving training sessions and internal development functions to increase lawyer branding, client engagement and best practice.
The Successful Applicant
- Marketing degree or relevant business qualification.
- Two years plus marketing, commercial or client engagement experience, professional services an advantage.
- Experience in CRM systems is essential.
- Strong proprietary attitude: customer focus and service attitude, demonstrated drive and initiative, ability to manage multiple tasks/projects, a continual improvement mindset.

- Business development and KAM skills.
- Advanced business writing skills.
- Research and analytical skills.
