About You
You have enjoyed being in the workshop, tinkering around with mechanical or electrical components. What you're looking for is a practical hands-on role that allows you to develop your skills in installing and servicing machinery. Whether it is the car in the garage or the computer in the office, you have always enjoyed situations that allow you to solve problems and work with your hands. Thats why you chose engineering in the first place: to pull things apart, understand how they work, and put them back together again. You may have seen or been exposed to CNC machinery in the past but have never had the opportunity to work on them. Now, you are looking to take this passion and turn it into a reality by working on premium waterjet cutting technology. About the Role
Reporting to the Technical Director, youll add crucial support to the field service team through:
Getting hands-on and technical with premium waterjet cutting machinery. You will work alongside other technicians and help provide routine maintenance, as well as utilising your problem-solving skills with repair work and fault finding across different clients. Once up to speed, helping to oversee the installation process. Obtaining an understanding of how the machinery fits into the larger context of the clients day-to-day operations and the importance it plays. The opportunity to attend customer sites across Melbourne (with a focus on the South Eastern suburbs) and interstate with travel related expenses covered for. Providing training and technical support to customers on how to use the machinery and provide assistance to any issues that arise. This will enable you to demonstrate your technical knowledge, expertise and communication skills. Selection Criteria
To be successful in this exciting opportunity you must have the following:
Have an Engineering degree or trade qualification (or are about to complete one) Current and unrestricted drivers licence What Next
