Reporting to the Resident Manager, you will oversee and ensure the smooth flow of Front Office operations and Reservations functions.

What the role encompasses:You will provide a visible management presence whilst on duty, ensuring each department is well prepared and staffed for each shift.You will work closely with guests and assist with enquiries, resolving any issues or guest complaints promptly and effectively.You will review Front Desk and Reservations standard operations procedures, checklists and tools to maximise productivity and continuous improvement.You will work with Housekeeping and Maintenance department heads to ensure the desired quality and standards of room inventory for sale.You will hire new team members and provide cross-training between Front Office and Reservations.You will regularly appraise team members performance, providing helpful feedback, counselling and discipline when required.You will prepare Front Office and Reservations budgets annually, review P&L statements monthly and review staff rosters and payroll costs weekly.
