About the role
The Co-Group is looking for a Senior Financial Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with our business partners, providing support to the CEO/Director by doing all accounting and financial delegation.This is a Permanent Full-Time position.Monday to Friday business hoursKings Park OfficeFlexible work arrangement including Work From Home
Responsibilities of the RoleOverseeing accounts receivable and payable to make sure the correct GL allocation and outstanding invoice/bill are collected/paid.Month end reconciliations review and proactive follow up of outstanding issuesFinancial analysis of month end results and commentary for management reportingPreparation of monthly and annual financial reportsAssist with annual auditLiaising with external tax agents for Payroll Tax, BAS, Income Tax and FBT returns lodgment. Annually business insurance and Workcover insurance renew Virtual debit card managementAdhoc request from management team
Your Skills and Experience
To be successful in the role, you will require the following skills and experience:Minimum 2 years experience in Accounting/FinanceDegree in Accounting or FinanceCPA/CA qualifiedXero experience, highly regardedUnderstanding of Microsoft Dynamics or related ERPsExperience in financial reporting and analysis, preparation of budgets and financial reporting to management and funding agenciesSound ability in MS Excel essential. Intermediate ability with the MS Office suite of products such as Word, Outlook and SharePointThe successful applicant will also need to be a highly motivated individual, capable of working autonomously, have great interpersonal skills and a solution focused attitude.NDIS Worker Screening Check (this role has been identified as a risk assessed role)Experience in the healthcare industry ( desirable but not essential)
