Due to the recent relocation of the Head Office to Brisbane, this organisation has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join the team.
Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Finance Manager will be responsible for
- Preparing all periodic financial and management reporting for multiple business units;
- Providing the business unit managers and operations team with detailed analysis and insights for decision making purposes;
- Identifying and implementing internal process improvement as well as being involved in systems upgrade and implementations;
- Managing and developing a small team.
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally possess the following;
- Degree qualification in Accounting (or related) and a professional qualification (CA, CPA, CIMA);
- Previous experience in an inventory or manufacturing related setting;
- Demonstrated experience implementing systems and processes for business improvement;
- Demonstrated experience engaging with operations teams and adding value to specific business units.
- Exposure to costing is advantageous
