The Campaign Officer will provide administrative and communication support to an Australian Government Campaigns Team. You should have experience in working in an administrative role and in a team environment. Ideally you would be proactive and have an interest in communications or campaigns. In this position, the successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive working relationships with internal and external clients, service providers and stakeholders. You will also need to demonstrate your ability to proactively and consistently meet deadlines and ensure delivery against objectives. You will be competent using Microsoft Office programs and have general administration skills. We are looking for a quick learner and someone who is willing to jump in to support the team to develop and implement large-scale advertising campaigns. You need to have excellent time management skills, be calm under pressure and be flexible to changes in direction.
Communication or campaign experience is desirable but not essential.
Key duties include:
- Assist in the development and implementation of campaigns.
- Administrative tasks such as procurement, invoicing, meeting management, filing and maintaining campaign documentation such as decision registers.
- Assist with reporting requirements and preparing briefing materials.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Resilience to manage competing priorities with limited supervision.
- Contribute to the culture of the Communication Branch.
