A typical day in this role
This role is responsible for assisting Councils Operations department in maintaining its existing road and related infrastructure, throughout the Mitchell Shire. Other duties may include: Undertake the safe and competent operation of medium and heavy mechanical plant. Prepare estimates of resource requirements (labour, plant, materials and time) for various works as required. Supporting your team members during projects and ensuring the safety of everyone Ensure compliance with Mitchell Shire Council and Business Unit policies and procedures. Undertake all paperwork and administration associated with the position which may include entering information into computer records.
