An International Financial Services is looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to join their global IT team on a minimum 6 month contract for their Sydney City office.
As the Desktop Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the internal company and team - including troubleshooting, installing, configuring, and maintaining/optimising all network hardware, software, and communications.
On a daily basis you will be responsible for;
- Delivering level 2 IT technical support for general system enquiries in a Windows 10 and MacOS environment.
- Providing business support / technical assistance to both local and remote users of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, VPN software and various proprietary applications.
- Serve as a senior liaison between IT and upper management in implementing procedural changes, software/hardware standards and standard operating procedures.
- Configuring, installing, supporting, troubleshooting and repairing client workstations, printers, mobile devices, audio, video and office equipment.
- Providing timely follow-up to users and management on issues by ensuring that all phases of desktop support, including installations, upgrades, software, hardware, operating systems, and operating system configuration issues, are properly coordinated, monitored, tracked, and resolved.
To succeed in this role you will have;
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint
- Confidence in supporting staff using Apple iOS & Android devices
- Comfortable with imaging software such as SCCM, familiarity with windows installer and desktop management suites.
- Knowledge of ITIL/Incident Management processes
- Extensive experience in hardware setup and support knowledge
