TWO AMAZING OPPORTUNITIESCreative Representation and Token Artists are both looking for a Managers Assistant to join us in our Sydney (Surry Hills) office.
These are roles primed for someone who thinks that they could be an Artist Manager one day. You can apply for either or both roles with your application.
Creative Representation represents actors, writers and directors working in film, television, theatre, and voice-over, as well as radio personalities and presenters including Leah Purcell, Adam Briggs, Eddie Perfect, Samuel Johnson, Rebel Wilson and The Kates.
Token Artists is Australias biggest manager of comedians, taking care of the global careers of Australias funniest on stage, on screen and anywhere else you can be funny. We manage the likes of Hannah Gadsby, Celia Pacquola, Wil Anderson, Tom Ballard, Tom Gleeson and Judith Lucy.
This wont be your first job; you will have had a few years of work experience. You will be motivated and smart and while you dont need to have worked in show business, you will need to be able to show us that you are passionate about the entertainment industry. Well want you to be out and about seeing shows, watching new programs and feeding back intel and reviews to the rest of the team.
You need to be super organised, confident enough to stand up for an Artist and able to deal with volume while still maintaining a keen eye for detail. We will teach you the ropes, but you need to be open to learning and keen to stretch yourself you will need to get your head around everything from TV run sheets and contracts to press calls and booking travel.

Skills you need to be organised and have worked in an office environment before, you need to be able to write confidently and problem solve. You need to be a clear communicator, but you dont need to be loud a quiet confidence will work just fine. You probably have a university degree, but were not fussed what it was in it could be a business or law degree, or it could be arts.
Most of all you need to be passionate about working behind the scenes to support creative people.
