About the role
Because of their immense growth in their portfolio, an exciting opportunity has come up in one of their offices in Sydney. They are urgently looking for two Scrum Masters - Data to provide critical support to Data domain owners in capital and liquidity space.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WHILST IT IS A SYDNEY ROLE, CANDIDATES FROM OTHER CITIES ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY AND FULL SUPPORT WILL BE PROVIDED TO ACCOMMODATE WORK FROM HOME OPTIONS
Skill Sets
You need to have the following skill sets to excel in this role:
- Experience playing Scrum Master role in an Data and Business Intelligence Environment
- Experience in managing end to end delivery of the data or Business Intelligence projects
- Experience in data transformation, data change projects in the financial services domain.
- Experience working on data projects, agile ways of working and solution delivery life-cycles
- Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal etc.
- Strong communication skills, ability to build rapport with all business and technical stakeholders and influence outcomes
- Experience with successful Agile techniques: User Stories, BDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automation
Day to day jobs:
- Ensure that scrum process is correctly identified and followed by your squad member
- Support the data Product Owners in delivering projects in the data space within the required time and budget
- Facilitate process of deciding which stories will be included in each sprint through understanding squad's velocity, story scope and size
- Facilitate agile events, meetings, or ceremonies, including Planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospective sessions
- Manage and maintain delivery of data related projects (regulatory projects, data uplift, data transformation etc.)
- Collaborating with business partners, technology groups, suppliers and customer groups to elicit, analyse, prioritise, validate, document and communicate business requirements;
