We have opportunities for Security Officers to perform the roles of a Control Room Operator for a major client Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities
· Creating and maintaining a safe and secure environment by controlling and monitoring access internally externally with the use of CCTV
· Knowledge of Honeywell Systems preferable but not necessary.
· Issuing and management of keys, swipe cards and photograph identification cards.
· Sign in procedure for Contractors that conduct works onsite, ensuring the appropriate Work Permits and site inductions.
· Monitoring and reacting to alarm activations such as fire alarms, lift and escalators alarms, lighting, and intruder alarms.
· Co-ordination, communication, information logging and response to Emergency Disaster situations.
· Assist the front of house team members, staff, and visitors as and when required.
· To act in the role of Chief Fire Warden in the absence of the Core Security Manager or Operations Supervisor. Knowledge of handling EWIS and FIP preferable but not necessary.
· Co-ordination, response, and logging of incidents which occur, this may include monitoring the situation with the use of physical and electronic surveillance and First Aid assistance.
To be considered for this role, you must:
· Hold a valid Victorian Security Licence.
· Hold a valid Provide First Aid Certificate and CPR.
· Experience with CCTV monitoring.
· Have availability across days, nights, weekends, and Public Holidays.
· Have full working rights in Australia (no work hour restrictions).
· Have excellent communication skills and command of the English language, both verbal and written.
You will be paid fortnightly and in accordance with the Security Services Industry Award 2020.
