job detailsOur client is a high profile supplier of pallet racking and shelving systems nationally. The company is undergoing huge growth, we are now seeking a Warehouse & Assembly Operator for the Truganina warehouse.
Permanent Full Time $56,784 per annum plus super and leave benefits. Hours are Monday to Friday 7.00am to 3.00pm. Previous experience with pallet racking would be ideal.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Loading and unloading freight from trucks
- Inbound Receivals/ Dispatch
- Moving pallets of products to and between warehouse racks
- Cut, drill and pack Aluminium Products, experience working with tools (eg drills, drop saw)
- Performing warehouse inventory controls via scanner and or through a computer
- Completing and Filing of Paperwork associated with job role
- Ensuring compliance with environmental health, safety, and corporate regulations
- General warehouse dutiesBulk picking boxes
To be successful in this role you will require:
- A current vehicle license with a clean driving history
- Forklift License (required)
- Previous experience using a variety of power tools and equipment (required)
- Experience In construction of pallet racking and office furniture (desirable)
- The ability to follow directions and use time effectively, prioritising workload
- Demonstrate effective communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills & Intermediate mathematical skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- Approachable and personable with a positive attitude
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced, variable environment
- Have moderate physical fitness with an ability to lift moderately heavy objects within the guidelines of WHS
