About Our ClientMy client is an organisation that specialises in managing the process of product returns and exchanges within the Australian market. They have been engaged by a large automotive company to re-manufacture a series of their vehicles.
Job Description
The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for but not limited to:
- The orderly and timely receipting of all goods including production parts and non-production goods.
- Receipting production parts in to the new 'In Transit Virtual Warehouses.'
- Transferring all receipts to the warehouse for storage.
- Manage import container receipting and co-ordination with the freight forwarder.
- Manage the dispatch and receipt of child parts and parent parts for local modification suppliers.
- Responsible for safety in the inwards goods and dispatch areas including receiving awning areas, depressed docks and vehicle store areas.
The Successful Applicant
The Distribution Supervisor will have:
- You have automotive inwards goods and dispatch experience.
- You are familiar with the receipting of automotive production parts.
- Experience working in a medium to large warehouse.
- Fully vaccinated from COVID-19, or have an approved medical exemption.
