Nganampa Health Council Inc (NHC) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation operating on the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands in the far north-west of South Australia. NHC operates clinics 24/7 in the six main communities on the APY lands and one outreach clinic and provides programs in sexual, environmental, dental, womens, childrens, eye and mental health, chronic disease management and immunisation.
The On Call Support Worker Manager role is critical to the functioning of NHC, and is a substantial opportunity for someone seeking meaningful, challenging and rewarding work in a remote area. The role is responsible for maintaining and developing the On Call Support Worker Program (OCSWP) so that health practitioners employed by Nganampa Health Council have effective after-hours safety support services.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability in:leading teams in an inter-cultural contextdeveloping, managing, reviewing and reporting on projects and programs interpreting and implementing relevant legislation, policy and human resource procedurescollecting and analysing datamentoring and inspiring employees.
Highly desirable criteria include:experience in safety and security work experience working for an Aboriginal organisation in remote Australiaexperience in the learning and development field.
The successful candidate will also have:flexibility in family arrangements to enable extensive periods on the APY Lands a current Australian Driver Licence a current police and working with children checkevidence of COVID vaccination qualifications in community development, training and development, or other related field.

Employment Conditions/Benefits
Salary range $85,000 - $115,000 subject to experience and qualifications
Annual Leave of 5 weeks pa
If recruited from outside Central Australia, relocation assistance is provided to Alice Springs and annual return airfare home
