Job DescriptionCare for a client in Sandhurst/ Cranbourne multiple visits, from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm 7 days per week. In addition to visits five plus hours per day, Clayton, and Cheltenham are available.

We are looking to build our care team with various experienced carers working from 10 to 38 hours per week with regular clients, with a minimum of 2 - 3 hours of visits.

Responsibilities
At the heart of what we do is enabling people to live at home as long as possible, doing what they love to do.
What you will be doing:Assisting clients with showering, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.Assisting clients with housekeeping, meals or other daily errands.Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises.Providing companionship and emotional support.Transporting clients to appointments and social events.Accurate visit documentation and observation of changes in the health or status.
We provide care 24/7, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet our clients' needs.
Skills & ExperienceIt is essential you feel and display empathy and want to engage with clients.Previous caregiving experience is an asset.A self-led leader with the ability to take responsibility for their behaviour & success.Must be able to speak and write in English. Other languages will be an asset!Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Designers when needed.A reliable way to get to and from the client's home.Drivers with their vehicle will be an asset
Mandatory RequirementsNDIS Worker Screener Check, or National Police Check (Aged Care/ Vulnerable Persons Sector)Working With Children CheckCaregiver - Minimum Cert III in Aged Care, Individual Support or Disability AND OR equivalent life experience in caring. We value the enthusiasm of youth and the wisdom of the mature aged.
