Job Description
- Maintain relationships between Estimating, Planning and Procurement to ensure effective flow of information and awareness of all aspects of project controls.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of project cost reports projects throughout the project life cycle.
- Assist optimisation of program level reporting by integrating the common work breakdown structure, coding, forecasting methods etc. across projects.
- Use standard cost control procedures and processes when generating or managing work breakdown structures, monthly status reporting, change control, budgets, forecasting, financial support relating to contract administration and project cost close-out to ensure a consistent approach across a portfolio of projects.
- Complete new project setup forms with provide appropriate backup to Finance.
- Prepare requisitions / purchase orders and proactively process and manage claims, invoices and payments for all suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Maintain appropriate work order number, requisition and purchase order statuses.
- Assist in the presentation of contract and other technical documents as required.
- Ensure cost allocations are processed against the correct work order numbers.
The Successful Applicant
- Strong attention to detail, highly diligent and strong written communication skills.
- Prior experience in Finance, Contract Administration, Payroll or Procurement.
- A highly organised individual able to work across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Understanding of contracts and invoicing.
- Willing to learn and grow their skills.
- Immediately available.
