This is a newly created role to work for a specialist civil and structural consultancy with a strong reputation in their engineering sector delivering some of the largest infrastructure projects from around the country. They are working in partnerships with both national and international contractors, have a recognised global presence, have won multiple awards, and have grown over 100% over the last 18 months.
The position
Due to continuous growth across their branches, a new opportunity has been created to really drive the digital engineering capabilities across their business. Working closely with the business Directors, your role will be to manage resources, projects and coordinate the designers across 3 branches as well representing the business as their BIM Lead. Other core responsibilities will include:
- Developing BIM execution plans
- Advising on design issues
- Leading reviews with internal management and external clients
- Coordinating internal design reviews
Requirements
You will ideally come from a strong civil/structural design background with strong experience using Revit, Navisworks and Civil 3D (Revizto will also be highly regarded). Above all, you will need to have excellent communication skills and be comfortable communicating at all levels. The ideal characteristics we are looking for is someone who is confident, self starter and enjoys working with people.
Rewards
The salary for this role is up to $160k + Super with additional opportunies to gain profit share in the business.
