We are currently seeking a talented Procurement & Estimation Officer to join us as Tekt is building a great team who are dedicated to supporting the product vision of both small and large companies through the creation of leading-edge products sold across the world.
We ideally expect that you will hold a Masters degree or Bachelor degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or Computer Science with relevant experience in a procurement role within the electronics development and manufacture sector.
Within the role you will demonstrate all the usual Procurement & Estimator skills expected in a procurement role including a strong proficiency with procuring from complex global supply chains and multi-level bill of material based estimation processes.
Importantly, you must have at least 2+ years of procurement specialist experience including experience with:Advanced Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet skillsERP/MRP based resource management and inventory systemsThe global electronics industry supply chainFreight and import duty and logistics considerationsInventory management best practices including non-conformance handlingMulti-currency transactions and purchasingSupplier account management and financial reportingWorked within a compliance environment such as aerospace, medical, or automotive to ISO standards and proceduresProcurement scenario and strategy development
