With a history of internal progression and culture built on continuous improvement, they are in an extremely busy period with a large number of projects either in progress or due to commence.
Job Description
- Act as an SME for tender relation queries, both in terms of preparation and evaluation in line with governments requirements
- Proactive contract management to ensure benefits are released and compliance is met
- Maintain knowledge of all State Government Procurement policies and current Whole of Government contract activities.
- Administer all relevant information for State Government reports in relation to Contracts & Procurement.
- Develop and enhance existing relationships with Victorian Government Departments.
- Some data analysis and Excel reporting required.
The Successful Applicant
- Demonstrated experience in delivering contract management services or appropriate training from a recognised procurement institution.
- A sound understanding of VGPB guidelines and framework, and member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) or related supplier domain viewed favourably.
- Excellent decision-making skills that demonstrate commercial and business acumen.
- Experience with the set up and management of contracts, including large value contracts
- Proven experience in document control and management.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently and take a proactive approach to completing tasks.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Demonstrated high level of stakeholder engagement at differing levels within the organisation
