Job Description
- You will provide proactive leadership, mentoring, coaching, and support to the Direct Services Team and ensure client and child safety always remains a priority.
- Develop new and innovative programs and services delivery methods, which are based on best-practice and evidence-based intervention practices.
- Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for the operational delivery against a variety of funding sources including the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and the Continuity of Support (Department of Education).
- Lead the delivery of a high quality and financially sustainable services that support people with a development delay or disability with the focus of building capacity for inclusion and encouraging positive outcomes.
- Ensure all clients and their families are aware of service operations and there is open and positive communication between families and staff in order to encourage mutually supportive relationships.
The Successful Applicant
- A relevant tertiary Bachelor/Masters Qualification in the allied health or the education sector (social work, speech pathology, occupational therapy, psychology, physiotherapy, early childhood intervention) and eligible practicing membership of AHPHRA, OTA, SPA, or VIT.
- Demonstrated experience to work effectively in or lead a team and ability to be a positive role model who is professional, supportive, and inclusive.
- Valid Working with Children Check, current Driver's License, and meets the criteria for a successful NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Police Check.
- Committed to providing high-quality services to all people from diverse language and cultural backgrounds.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
