About the Role
As the IT Applications Specialist you will work with key stakeholders, vendors, and other IT staff to innovate and implement services and functionalities within your assigned portfolio of applications.
You will deliver Level 3 support to all departments and end users related to application implementation, maintenance, enhancements, and overall performance.
This includes leveraging existing data and technology as well as scoping and defining new technology requirements.
Responsibilities Application Deployment and Testing Management of business applications (IManage Work 10, Aderant Expert, Intapp Conflicts, Caseflow, CRM, HRIS, ARCS and Microsoft O365 suite) Act as a liaise between business users and technical team members as well 3rd party vendors Document or support documentation review of process or technical changes Identify process improvements and work with business partners effectively to implement change Evaluate new solutions, applications, and IT service providers to meet new business requirements Work with the business and IT support team in resolving application issues and new requests utilising a ticketing system to create, modify, track and update tickets Support Head of Business Applications with license management and coordination of preventative maintenance, patches and feature updates and upgrades Communicate very clearly with internal stakeholders and listen to their concerns related to IT interfaces and provide application support Vendor management- support 3rd party applications, integrations, and manage the vendor relationship related to account management and escalations.
About You Suitable candidates will bring previous Level 2 or Level 3 IT application support experience, preferably within a legal or professional services environment A responsive and solution focused approach when facing incidents and problems impacting stakeholders and end-users Familiarity with juggling competing demands, comfort in working through problems autonomously and exercise sound judgement on when to escalate A passion for continuous improvement and driving efficiency A willingness and ability to learn and develop new skills for yourself and a passion in sharing and mentoring others Proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships, in particular the ability to earn the confidence and trust of key stakeholders Good influencing and negotiation capability Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to develop positive working relationships with customers
