We are now looking for an experienced Senior Network Performance & Optimisation Engineer, who will be responsible for improving 4G/5G performance, KPI metrics and end-user experience. In this role, you will also be accountable for providing profitable business for Ericsson by translating customer needs, and technology opportunities into detailed technical offering, solutions and proposals.In this role, you would:Collaborating with the Performance Lead or Performance ManagerDelivering site and/or cluster acceptance activities within time and budgetSupport benchmarking activities, cluster optimisation, special events analysis and/or new on-field trialsTune and optimize customer network to achieve KPI targets within timeframe and budgetTroubleshoot 4G/5G site issues during network swapout or capacity upgradeResolve customer 4G/5G technical issuesAttend customer premise for meetingsReviewing customers network and proposing technical solutions on performance improvementsPerform E2E drive test and analysis of log files (layer 3)Drive efficiencies, automation and cost savings in network performance and optimization processesParticipate in knowledge transfer, documentation and information sharingSupporting Performance Manager or Lead on driving network enhancement and ad-hoc activitiesAs our ideal candidate, you will have:Minimum years of experience: 10 years+ in TelecommunicationsExcellent understanding and experience RF tuning and optimization in WCDMA/LTE/5G networks.Worked in large scale network swap outs projects and driven e2e improvementStrong understanding and hands-on experience of multi-vendor KPI and feature mappingUnderstanding of different features and baseline parameters for performance improvementsProven examples of driving outcomes in swap project and within timeframe & budgetManaging special event capacity planning, dimensioning and planningExtensive experience troubleshooting on complex 4G/5G technical issuesSolid experience with drive test tools such as X-CAL/CAP, TEMS-I/D, QXDMDeep understanding on L3 messaging, root cause analysis and cell traceExperience with various multi-vendor OSS platform toolsExperience with benchmarking activities and Ookalah, Youtube speed test optimizationExperience and understanding in multi-vendor network interworkingExcellent communication skillsExcellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills to resolve issues with build and integration teamEricsson experience highly regardedProgramming and Scripting skills advantageous
