This asset management company is located on the out skits of Adelaide CBD, and has been in operation for over 20 years. They are a leader in engineering services who design, build and maintain condition monitoring, control and automation systems for multiple sectors across the globe. Due to growth they are looking for an experienced Industrial Designer/Drafter who is motivated, looking for an interesting role and is passionate about what they do.
The Position
Reporting the the Engineering Manager, your role will be to design and draft electromechanical components and products for speciality built projects. You will be using your expertise to develop site integration drawings and work with the production teams and vendors for tenders and quoting submissions. You will be a key support the Production Manager with production inputs and assisting the Project Engineers to establish, improve and maintain quality control processes, systems and deliver projects on schedule.
Qualification, Experience and Requirements
Tertiary or Trade qualifications in drafting and/or electronic/mechatronic engineering
Industry experience working as a product designer / drafter with electromechanical systems
Experience working with SolidWorks, AutoCAD or Altium
Able to work with weekly and monthly project deadlines
able to build rapport and communucate effectively with customers
Be re/located in Adelaide with Australian working rights
