Your new role ...
You will be running the day-to-day account management of a small portfolio of highly engaged companies. Creating and executing quarterly public relations strategy plans for your accounts with the goal of building their brands and delivering a portfolio of media clippings that align with their business objectives. You will be working closely with your team, including an account director, to support you in your continuous growth in the role and the execution of your best work.
Key Duties:
- Research and strategy development.
- Building tiered media lists.
- B2B and B2C public relations campaigns.
- News angle creation for media and speaking engagements.
- Copywriting including pitches and media releases.
- Media relations.
- Case study development.
- LinkedIn management.
- Client management.
Your skills and experience
- Excellent communicator.
- Relevant experience in a public relations or similar media industry role.
- Fantastic media relations skills and an understanding of the Australian media landscape.
- A growth mindset and passion for storytelling.
- An attitude that's focused on getting stuff done.
- Highly adaptive to change.
- A desire to get your hands dirty and hit deadlines.
- A razor-sharp eye for detail.
- Enjoy being part of a collaborative, team environment.
