Job summary
Located in the world famous Langhorne Creek, the land of the Ngarrindjeri people and one of Australias oldest wine regions.We partner with our clients in our mutual appreciation for the art of winemaking and their passion to produce the most unique and individual premium wines possible.
From small batch parcels to large, we are a small family like team that take pride in our profession and practice tolerance and diversity in all aspects of our safe and sustainable winemaking.
Based at our winery in Langhorne Creek you will be working as a part of our team to crush up to 12000 tonnes of fruit from all over South Australia. We are looking for physically fit, energetic people with the ability to trouble shoot and work efficiently both independently and as an engaged member of our team. Personality is equally important and a fun and happy outlook towards work and team involvement is key.
We are currently looking for the following positions to be filled.

JOB DESCRIPTION
A range of tasks may include but are not limited to:Work with a multitude of varieties, regions and clients within the contract facilityFruit receival & processing/crushing operationsPressing operationsOperate pumps, perform transfers, rackings and ferment managementJuice and wine additionsOak/barrel workCleaning tasksWine filtrationWine intake/dispatch
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Some of the key job requirements are:Want to be a part of a team and passionate about wine.Positive personality that has a can do approach.Willing and able to work on rotating shifts, which will include extended hours and weekend workA desire to participate in sustainable practices.Forklift License preferred.Applicants must be legally allowed to work in Australia with a current working visa as a minimum.Strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills.Excellent time management capabilities.Attention to detail is essential.
We proudly pay above award rates and Vintage Cellarhands are paid as casuals not term contracts.
