The Centre ...
This is a lovely privately owned, 40 place centre located in the suburb of Gladesville. They are seeking an Early Childhood Teacher (or working towards and over 50% completed) to join their team either now or Jan 2023. You will lead the 3-5 room, catering to up to 20 children. You will also have the opportunity to split the Educational Leader responsibilities with the Centre Director. This is a full-time role working 5 days a week with an RDO each month.
Their focus is to collaborate with families and the community to provide the highest quality care for all children. They have a strong focus on advancing childrens education so they are primary school ready. The service is equipped with innovative environments and the newest resources to ensure children and staff have the best environment to collaborate in.
Your role
Work as the Early Childhood Teacher leading the 3-5 room.
- Using a range of methods to guide childrens behaviour by communicating with and listening to children
- Preparation, implementation and evaluation of a developmentally appropriate programs for individual children and groups
- Being reliable, respectful and working constructively with your colleagues and other professionals
- Ensuring a trusting relationship is developed with families through regular, honest and open communication regarding the care of their child
- Having a sound knowledge of current child care practices, the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework

About you
To be successful in this position you must have:
- A Bachelors in Early Childhood Teaching OR ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification (or over 50% working towards)
- Provisional or Proficient NESA Accreditation
- A current Working with Childrens Check
- Current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
- A good understanding of the EYLF and NQS
