Job Description
The successful Finance Manager for this role will be:
- Point of contact for the transaction
- Prepare finance integration plan together with the target (e.g. AR/AP, payroll, GL)
- Prepare modelling for monthly carve out financial statements for Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss between signing and closing the transaction.
- Prepare and respond to all ad hoc information requests from the Target teams.
- Provide assistance at End of Month to the local finance team for any EOM adjustments relating to the transfer.
- Prepare written reports/memo's for use by the technical accounting team detailing the business and the transaction.
- Attend technical accounting meetings and document outcomes and respond to queries
- Work with external advisors on the transaction.
The Successful Applicant
The Finance Manager will ideally have:
- Degree qualified (Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business)
- CA/CPA
- Previous experience in a large project management business is preferred.
- Be able to work with little guidance.
- Previous experience working on M&A's particularly integration is highly desirable.
- Exposure to senior executives.
- Exceptional time management and prioritisation skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- TM1 system skills highly desirable.
- Peoplesoft system skills an advantage.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in a finance role.
What's on Offer
This is a temporary contract that will go permanent after six months. The Finance Manager will be offered a $160,000 package with a 10% bonus after six months when the contract will go permanent into your brand new position. The client also offers flexible working from their CBD location.
