Desirable skills and attributes for the role:
- The ability to demonstrate empathy and patience for individual's circumstances is essential
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Experience working within the healthcare sector, claims, injury, community services or managing a case load is highly regarded
- The ability to read and interpret medical notes and legislation
- Proven ability to gather information and make confident decisions
- The ability to show patience and listen to clients over the phone
- Demonstrated ability to follow process, policy and legislation
