About the Team
The Cloud & DevOps team is responsible for the Enterprise Data Platform and bridges the gap between software development and IT operations by ensuring effective, secure and efficient infrastructure and cloud processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop cloud-based applications and data pipelines.
- Manage cloud environments.
- Deploy and debug cloud initiatives as needed in accordance with best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Create and build high quality DevOps friendly, scalable, reusable solutions and components.
- Contribute to developing features to a high standard that delivers business value in an agile way.
- Demonstrate the continuous improvement in quality and productivity through measurable outcomes.
- Contribution to the deployment process improvements.
Knowledge & Experience Required:
- 4+ years relevant experience across Cloud Technologies.
- Proven experience designing solutions on Public and Private Clouds.
- Demonstrated experience with Application and/or Infrastructure automation/orchestration.
- Strong working knowledge and experience of Terraform and Ansible, or similar tools.
- Experience and technical understanding of latest Cloud technology trends and issues.
- Well-rounded understanding of Cloud Networking concepts and experience implementing and supporting.
- Demonstrated understanding of Cloud Security.
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD processes and best practices.
- Exposure to Data Factory and Databricks.
- Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related discipline preferred.
