About the Team
This team looks after the Engineering and Development for all the store's platforms at Coles, primarily focusing on upgrades, enhancements for the devices (PDTs) that Coles workers use daily! Sitting within the store's platform team, this role is integral to ensure consumers have access to all products on offer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical configuration, interface, reporting and other application technical tasks for Supply Chain system development.
- Perform development tasks across all Supply Chain systems and lead the team of offshore delivery.
- Work with development teams and upstream/downstream systems teams to ensure there are no unacceptable or degrading impacts key SLAs.
- Produce technical designs for new and existing applications, and develop system code that implements the design, meeting requirements and relevant standards.
- Contribute materially to the overall design and architecture of a broad array of solutions.
- Contribute materially to the advancement of engineering practices across the program.
- Play a leading role in knowledge transfer, skill development, and general mentorship to other developers.
You will have:
- Around 5 years of experience using Python .
- Ideally some knowledge of building solutions in Azure Cloud, such as;
- WebApps
- Serverless Functions
- Logic Apps
- Data Factory
- LogAnalytics
- PowerBI
- Azure Devops
- An in-depth Knowledge of building container solutions on Docker.
- Extensive experience developing in Linux, Scripting in Powershell, MS SQL, TSQL, Windows VM in a large enterprise environment.
- Experience in .NET, Javascript is a bonus.
- At least 5 years experience in technology development and configurations and services across industry (Retail preferred but not essential).
- Experience with requirement gathering, consulting and solution proposals.
