Provide quality focused leadership and coaching by:
Observation of team members while they are delivering care and services.Provide guidance in relation to documentation/recording to ensure care and services provided meets expected outcomes - this includes an evaluation of effectiveness of interventions.Assist staff to improve their ability to reflect on and critically analyse their practice.Support RNs to assist carers to identify and rectify gaps in their practice.Develops team members knowledge and understanding of expectations of practice within the framework of the Aged Care Quality Standards and their own scope of practice.Oversee the daily clinical operations of the care home.Manage person-centred care planning and evaluation for residents - including case conferencing with families and carersPrepare and conduct clinical governance auditsOversee medication management in accordance with resident needs and legislative requirementsLiaise with allied health, medical practitioners and other services to provide optimal resident care
Skills and Experience:Experience managing a minimum of 30 bedsAn understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and OutcomesExperience as a Nurse Educator preferred but not essential How to Apply:
