Job summary
Due to an expanding portfolio of awarded contracts and strong growth, we are currently seeking a CEC Qualified Electrician to join our NSW installation team.ABOUT THE ROLE
Kuga is a national Solar EPC with locations in NSW, ACT, VIC and QLD. Our team consists of one of Australia's best sales, engineering and project management teams. All of our solar installations are completed by our own internal electricians teams, not sub-contractors and we have completed over 50mW of commercial solar installations nationally. At Kuga we have a number of key points that separate us from our competitors and have the proven track record on any job up to 5mW.
Your role will be to:Lead the NSW installation team inclusive of recruitment and performance management of your teamLead by example and set a high standard of work ethic and workmanship while training and mentoring your teamConduct pre installation site inspections and work with our experienced Engineering team to complete our construction management planWork with our valued clients to clearly set out site access plans prior to installation commencementScope solar connection points on industrial switchboards so compliance is adhered to for the latest standardsWork with our Project Managers and Project Engineers to ensure estimating matches the scope of works and project deliveryDeliver commercial solar projects on time and to budget and communicate progress to Project Managers and ClientsManage the HS&E requirements for your team including Pre-Starts, SWMS, JSEAs, PPE and any site specific requirements
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will:Have Commercial Solar Installation experience on projects from 500kW to 5mWHold a CEC design and installation accreditationBe fully Qualified A Grade ElectricianHold a Working at Heights and EWP licence (or willing to get before starting)Current drivers licencePassion for solar and battery storageQuick learnerBe self-managed and be a great team playerHave a high drive, initiative and be a great problem solver
