Building our Talent
We are currently seeking an experienced WHS&E Coordinator who is looking to further develop their career with us, this opportunity will be based working on our iconic Western Sydney International Airport' project, and will be a part of our regional safety group in NSW.
As a WHS&E Coordinator within Multiplex, you will be required to provide support to the project teams in the areas of Workplace Health Safety and Environmental management and compliance. You will also be responsible for developing meaningful and productive relationships with all stakeholders, maintaining records and databases and work with the project team to identify opportunities for improvement.
Key Accountabilities: Able to interpret legislation and certification system requirements and implement into practice on the project Able to identify and implement HSE objectives and targets and provide measureable reports on success Interpret program and ensure activities are planned in advance with required documentation completed prior to start Maintain and monitor compliance of HSE systems in accordance with Procedures and Management Plans
Key Skillset Required: Solid systems experience with an ability to translate systems into practice Proven experience gained within the building/construction industry Sound knowledge of applicable legislation, Codes of Practice, Australian Standards and other relevant documentation Qualification in Workplace Training & Assessment (preferred) Demonstrated ability to positively influence and improve Health and Safety outcomes
