The organisation has offices across the world in Europe, the US & in the Asia-pacific region including Australia. Our client has experienced significant growth leading to this newly created role.
Job Description
The Project Accountant will be responsible for:
- Implement and monitor weekly and monthly cost tracking
- Assist in mentoring the billings associate/administrator
- Execute monthly variance reporting and analysis
- Reconcile appropriate revenue during various project stages
- Assist to perform budget maintenance and update
- Set up project and work orders
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Assist with Billings whilst the administrator is on leave
- Business Partner with executives
- Generate Purchase Orders
- Coordinate and partner with project managers, project controller managers, commercial managers, project administrators and finance team in order to resolve issues and answer queries
- Ad hoc analysis as requested by Commercial Manager
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have exposure to a similar role in the Project Administration, Project Accounting space or be an Assistant Accountant, Project Controls Specialist/Administrator within a similar industry and be looking to make the next move in their career. The candidate will also be well communicated, presented and be passionate about the sector.
