Situated in Adelaide's northern suburbs, you will work for a business who pride themselves on leveraging and understanding their clients needs through a tailored approach to transport, warehousing and distribution networks.
About the role
This management role will control and oversee all aspects of transport operations, containers and warehousing whilst adhering to quality standards, company policies and procedures. In addition, your expertise will contribute to improved operational processes and the overall performance of the organisation. This is a Monday to Friday role, working on a day shift with some flexibility.
Duties and responsibilities
- Managing a diverse operational team including output, performance, workforce planning and rostering
- Leading your team to deliver complex transport and warehousing solutions for your customers
- Meeting agreed service, quality and safety standards while working within the demands of supply chain pressures
- Manage operations to ensure customer service, delivery, quality are while driving improvement projects, financial performance and change management
Selection Criteria
- You will be an engaging leader, with a passion for improving culture and performance in your team
- You will have held a similar role in a medium to large organisation and be able to demonstrate examples of leading projects and improvement initiatives
- You will be a confident and articulate professional, with an innate ability to engage multiple levels of stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in various warehouse & transport management systems and MS Office
- Knowledge and understanding of NHVAS and CoR
- Related tertiary qualifications highly regarded
