About the role:
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis, with availabilities to join either our AM or PM shift. Based out of our Perth Airport head office, this role involves the service, repair and maintenance of all fleet vehicles in an efficient and timely manner in accordance with the maintenance and workshop procedures.
What your days would look like: Effectively diagnose and find faults in the mechanical assessment of machinery for repair, maintenance and service. Servicing for all fleet, including trucks, trailers, dollys and motor vehicles in accordance with the maintenance procedure and workshop manual. Replacement of brakes, suspension components and steering systems Body building, including welding and grinding of chassis or comb rails on flat top trailers Auto electrical work on all 12- or 24-volt system to comply with dangerous goods code Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately
Do you tick these boxes? Trade certified in Heavy Diesel Mechanics Experience in a similar role Exposure working with Kenworth prime movers and Cummins engines Ability to work autonomously and in a team Ability to think creatively to solve problems Forklift ticket HR Licence preferred, but not essential
