We partner with our clients to deliver innovative process solutions, based on both established and next generation technologies, to provide long-term sustainable solutions, predominantly in the energy, mining and wastewater industries.As we embark on our next stage of growth in Western Australia, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Warehouse & Logistics Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager that prides themselves on managing safe, reliable and efficient warehouse operations. The role will initially be based on management of a small warehouse facility and logistical support for existing operations, as well as general inventory management and warehouse administration.
An immediate priority for the role will be to develop a relocation plan as our Perth based operations will be moving to a larger and newer warehouse complex, providing an opportunity to lead the warehouse establishment process from start to finish, as part of a broader team, in a fun and fast-paced work environment. The role involves:Operational responsibility for warehouse and logistics operations, including inventory management.Maintaining a sense of ownership and attention to detail, including commitment to quality and focus on supporting internal and external stakeholders.Implementing best practices in safety, regulatory compliance and dangerous/hazardous goods management, in compliance with ISO standards.Collaborating with internal stakeholders including Health & Safety, Commercial, Sales/Marketing, Procurement & Engineering teams, in order to ensure organisational requirements are met. The role will also involve frequent collaboration with interstate colleagues.Collaboration with external stakeholders including suppliers, partners, 3PL, to ensure efficient inventory management and logistics support.Researching, evaluating and adopting innovative solutions, in order to achieve more scalable and reliable solutions.
APPLICANTS MUST HAVE, i) full working rights in Australia, ii) ability to lift 20kg safely, and iii) current driver and forklift licences.
The ideal candidate will have:Minimum 3 years of warehouse and inventory management experience.Experience with WMS/ERP and other data analytics systems.Experience, or at least knowledge of how-to best design, set-up and manage a new warehouse facility.Experience working with range of leading logistics service providers.A positive and resilient approach, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.Excellent verbal & written communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for functioning as part of a high-performing team.Be reliable, honest and hardworking.Genuine interest in sustainability and making a difference.
Additional SkillsExperience with ecommerce related technology platforms, particularly those that connect with a marketplace, accounting and/or fulfillment.In this regard, applications from applicants with diverse experience in effectively managing inventory in a highly systematic manner, particularly from third-party stockists/distributors/drop-shipping/3PL, will be highly regarded. Any experience in the water and/or water treatment industry will also be highly regarded, although not essential.
