Job Description
Reporting the Board, this integral position will be responsible for the leadership of the company. Key responsibilities will include:
- Collaboratively establishing the business direction that supports strategy, operating and budget plans, as well as overall execution
- Providing leadership and direction to marketing and business development, customer service, financial and accounting and internal control operations
- Managing the company's international marketing and network of technical sales professionals
- Significant communication with key agents, dealers and clients
- Managing the completion of ongoing product development projects and overseeing the beginning of sales of the products
- Monitoring export and supply chain movements
- Working closely with R&D and technical personnel, as well as external stakeholders, such as research institutes and universities
The Successful Applicant
Ideally you will have a scientific background in a chemical, agricultural or associated industry. In addition, you will have developed a strong commercial acumen and progressed into a business leadership position, utilising your wide range of academic, technical and strategic skills.
It is also essential that you display the ability to liaise with a wide range of internal research, operational and sales personnel, as well as a variety of external stakeholders such as international agents, clients, research institutes, universities and government departments.
